Already in 2001, Internorm started producing timber-aluminum windows. The reason why Internorm decided to abandon traditional wooden windows was the market demand for maintenance-free wooden windows. This is how a unique profile structure was created, consisting of wood on the inside, an aluminum cover on the outside and thermal insulation foam between these two materials.
Internorm’s timber-aluminum windows by default are extensively equipped: concealed hinges & locking, hidden drainage, warm inter-pane frame, three panes of glass with a Ug coefficient = 0.5 W/m2K, three peripheral gasket seals, I-tec Glazing technology and anti-burglary protection. Each timber-aluminum window Internorm offer achieves passive thermal insulation of less than 0.8 W/m2K, and at the customer’s request, each window can achieve the second class of burglary resistance.
Internorm’s stylish timber-aluminium aluclad windows are engineered with insulation in mind. They can achieve U-values as low as just 0.62 W/(m²K), comfortably better than many of the most reputable competitive systems on the market, thanks to the triple glazing, insulation of the aluminium cladding, triple gaskets and the addition of the I-tec Core technology.
Internorm’s bespoke timber-aluminium windows are engineered with triple glazing and triple gaskets as standard. Combining all the benefits of these carefully engineered premium products means that Internorm timber-aluminium windows and doors can achieve up to 47dB sound reduction, significantly improving the quality of life and wellbeing of the homeowner.
